ETimes contacted the singer and he opened up, “I believed I was dealing with Agarwal Movers and Packers, a renowned name in the industry. The person I spoke to introduced himself as Atul Agarwal, but it later came to light that his real name is Mhd Imran Khan. They promised a smooth and secure transportation process for my car, assuring me that it would be delivered to the destination on time. However, since the pickup on May 29th, I have not received any communication or updates regarding the whereabouts of my car.”
“To my shock, I received a call from the fraudsters demanding additional money, threatening to abandon my car in an undisclosed location if their demands are not met. It is a heart-wrenching experience to see my cherished possession held hostage, with no way to retrieve it unless I comply with their unjust demands,” he shared further.
“This incident has taught me a valuable lesson about the risks associated with online transactions. It is crucial to conduct thorough research, verify the authenticity of service providers, and seek recommendations from trusted sources before entrusting our belongings to anyone,” he concluded the conversation.
