NEW DELHI: Soborno Isaac Bari, a 12-year-old prodigy of Bangladeshi origin, is set to join New York University (NYU) next year to pursue his passion for mathematics and physics.
This remarkable achievement comes after Soborno graduated from high school in an astonishing two years, making him the youngest graduate of Malverne High School on Long Island.With a GPA of 98 out of 100, Soborno’s academic prowess is truly exceptional.
Soborno’s parents, Rashidul Bari and Shaheda Bari, who immigrated from Bangladesh, were the first to recognise their son’s extraordinary intelligence. From a young age, Soborno displayed signs of genius, mastering the periodic table at the age of 2 and solving complex problems in mathematics, physics, and chemistry.
His accomplishments have not gone unnoticed, as he received a letter of appreciation from former US President Barack Obama in 2020.
As Soborno prepares to embark on his journey at NYU in the fall of next year, his ambitions are set on pursuing a doctoral program. His parents are immensely proud of their son’s achievements and look forward to witnessing his continued success in the academic world.
