1. India refused to sign a joint statement at SCO Summit
On 26 June, Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh participated in a meeting of the SCO Defense Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. In the meeting, India refused to sign the joint statement.
The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) 2025 meeting is being held in Kingdao, China.
- In fact, the joint statement did not include the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, while the incident in Balochistan was involved in this. India did not sign the statement, expressing displeasure over this.
- The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) is a regional international organization, founded in 2001 by China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
- Later India and Pakistan became its members in 2017 and Iran also became a member in 2023.
- The SCO aims to increase security, economic and political cooperation among the member countries.
- The organization formulates a shared strategy on issues like terrorism, extremism, drug smuggling and cyber crime.
2. Khelo India University Games 2025 will be in Jaipur
On 25 June, Union Sports Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandavia announced the Khelo India University Games 2025 to be held in November.
Sports Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandavia tweeted and informed about the event of Khelo India University Games 2025.
- Khelo India University Games 2025 will be played in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan.
- Purnima University and Rajasthan University will jointly host Khelo India University Games 2025.
- This is the 5th edition of Khelo India University Games. It began in February 2020.
- These games are for under-25 athletes.
- Earlier in May 2025, Under-18 Khelo India Youth Games were held in Bihar.

1. Agniveer Air Recruitment notification continues in Indian Air Force
The notification has been issued for recruitment to 2,500 posts under the Agneepath Scheme in Indian Air Force. The application for this recruitment will start from July 11. Candidates will be able to apply by visiting the official website agnipathvayu.cdac.in. The exam date for this recruitment has been fixed on 25 September 2025.
Educational qualification:
- Intermediate (12th) Mathematics in Mathematics, Physics and English with 50% numbers
- Or minimum of engineering in mechanical / electrical / electronics / automobile / computer science / instrumentation technology / IT with minimum 50% marks
- Or a 2 -year vocational course with physics and mathematics from any recognized board with a total of 50% marks and 50% marks in English.

2. Recruitment to 91 posts including Project Engineer in C-DAC
The Center for Development of Advanced Computing i.e. C-DAC has recruited 91 posts including Project Engineer. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website cdac.in.
The date of tentative walk-in-interview on behalf of C-DAC has been fixed in the fourth and fifth week of July. The time to attend the walk-in-interview will be from 8:30 am to 10:30 am.
Educational qualification:
- BE or BTech degree from a recognized institute
Edge Limit:
- Maximum 56 years according to the post
Salary:
- 37,500 – Rs 1,10,000 per month

1. CDS II Time Table released for exam
Union Public Service Commission i.e. UPSC released a time table for Combined Defense Service i.e. CDS II Exam 2025. Candidates can check the detailed schedule by visiting the official website upsc.gov.in.
According to the schedule, the CDS II exam will be held on September 14, 2025. The exam will be conducted in 3 shifts, each shift will be of 2 hours.
Candidates will be selected for recruitment to the Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officers Training Academy through CDS exam.
2. UPSC CISF Assistant Commandant (ExE) result released
UPSC declared the result of UPSC CISF Assistant Commandant (Executive) Examination 2025. Candidates can check the merit list by visiting the official website upsc.gov.in. The result PDF has a roll number of applications which have qualified for Medical Standard Test i.e. MST and Physical Standard Test i.e. PST.
The UPSC CISF AC exam was held on 27 April 2025. According to the Commission, information related to Marx and other exams will be released within 30 days of the release of the final results or on the UPSC website after the interview.
