3 players are returning to India after leaving the Australia tour, BCCI’s big decision in the Gaba Test, there is no need in the Test series

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to send 3 of its players to India during the ongoing third Test match against Australia. All these three are fast bowlers and they did not get a chance in the three matches played in the ongoing Test series in Australia. After returning to the country, these players will be seen playing in the Vijay Hazare Trophy which will start from December 21 to January 18. These players include Mukesh Kumar, Yash Dayal and Navdeep Saini, who were kept as reserve players in Team India.

It was difficult for all the three bowlers to get a chance in the remaining two Test matches against Australia, so the Indian board decided to call these bowlers back to India. The BCCI has called the trio earlier so that they can return to India and get a proper practice ahead of the Vijay Hazare Trophy. The Bengal team has given place to Mukesh Kumar in their team. Bengal has also included Mohammad Shami in their team for the Vijay Hazare Trophy, who will be seen proving his fitness. Shami’s hopes of going to Australia have been dashed.

India has 5 fast bowlers
Even after dropping Mukesh Kumar, Navdeep Saini and Yash Dayal from Team India, the Indian team still has 5 fast bowlers including Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Siraj, Akashdeep, Harshit Rana and Prasid Krishna. Mukesh and Saini were with Team India from the beginning. Both of them accompanied India A on the tour to Australia where they faced the Australia A team. Mukesh played both unofficial Tests against Australia-A, in which he took 11 wickets.

Mukesh Bengal and Yash will play for the Uttar Pradesh team
Navdeep Saini got a chance to play in just one warm-up match. Yash Dayal has been included in the squad in place of Khalil Ahmed. Khalil Ahmed returned injured from Australia without playing. Yash will join the Uttar Pradesh squad for the Vijay Hazare Trophy, while Mukesh will be seen bowling for Bengal while Saini will be seen bowling for Delhi in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Openers Abhimanyu Easwaran and Devdutt Padikal may also be left out of the squad.
