A 40-year-old man and his three children died due to suspected poisoning in a village in a remote area of Rajouri district, while the victim’s wife and another daughter are undergoing treatment. Fazal Hussain, his wife Shamim Akhtar (38) and four children of this couple were admitted to the Government Medical College Hospital in Rajouri late on Saturday night due to indigestion. This family is a resident of Badhal Gorla village. Hussain died in the wee hours of Sunday while undergoing treatment while his wife and three children succumbed to their injuries at a Jammu hospital. An investigation is being conducted by the police to find out the cause of death. -News-Patiala
