Rajya Sabha adjourned: There was a big uproar in the Rajya Sabha today regarding the relationship of the Congress leaders with the billionaire and investor George Soros, due to which the proceedings of the House were interrupted several times. On this occasion, pro-ruling MPs accused top leaders of Congress of conniving with billionaires. Because of this, no work was done in the upper house. The proceedings of the Rajya Sabha were adjourned for the day after the uproar from both sides.
On the other hand, the Congress alleged that the ruling MPs are currently doing this to divert attention from Adani and other issues. Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar held a meeting with the leaders of both parties. After this, Dhankhar said, ‘The integrity and sovereignty of the nation is sacred to us. We cannot allow any force inside or outside the country to undermine our unity, our integrity and our sovereignty.’
