Several days ago in Kumbhra village, the families of the victims, villagers and other justice-loving people protested in front of the SSP office and raised slogans against the Punjab government and the police.

It is worth mentioning that regarding this matter, Mohali police have filed a case against Jathedar Parvinder Singh Sohana, in-charge of Shiromani Akali Dal Mohali and Mandeep Singh Kumbhara, son of state president of Anti-Persecutor and Anti-Corruption Front Balwinder Singh Kumbhara, and two absconding accused have not been arrested yet. Speakers said that in the Kumbha murder case, the higher authorities had promised financial assistance of Rs. 25 lakh each to the families of the victims and the arrest of the absconding accused, but so far neither the victims’ families nor the absconding accused have been compensated. was arrested He insisted that the complaint registered against the protestors should be cancelled. He warned to intensify the struggle. Earlier today, the victims had retreated from the road and sat on dharna, but when the administration did not wake up, they staged a dharna by stopping the traffic on the road. After this, ADC Viraj S Tidke reached the spot and listened to the victims and assured justice to the families of the victims. Meanwhile, the villagers sent a demand letter to the governor of Punjab through DC. He demanded that the victims’ families should be given a compensation of one crore rupees each and one member of the family should be given a government job.

On this occasion, Namdar Harchand Singh Jakhwali, Praveen Tank, Harnek Singh Maloa, Gurnam Kaur former block committee member, President Jasmer Singh also addressed the protest.
