Sikander Singh Maluka arrived here today on the occasion of the ongoing religious service at Takht Sri Damdama Sahib of Sukhbir Singh Badal. On this occasion, while talking to the journalists, he said that at present the situation in Punjab has become very bad because there is no development anywhere and no work for the welfare of any section. That is why people are fed up with the Congress and the current AAP government which has ruled for the last five years. Therefore, the people of the state have started waiting for the coming of the Akali government again, remembering the development and public welfare work done in Punjab during the Akali government, but this will be possible only if all the Akali are united now. According to him, the Akali Dal government can be brought in 2027 only with unity, but if all remain separate, then a big political loss cannot be denied. He advised the Akali leadership and said that it will be necessary to take the BJP along with it to form the government. On the question of Maluka not appearing on the Akal Takht Sahib, he said that on the day when the entire Akali leadership was called, he was sick but now whenever there is an order from Sri Akal Takht Sahib, he will appear as a humble Sikh.
