Gurdaspur Additional Deputy Commissioner Harjinder Singh held a meeting with Revenue Department officials in his office today. During this, he instructed the officers to come to the offices on time and resolve the complaints within 45 days.

The Additional Deputy Commissioner said that as per the instructions of the Punjab Government, it is mandatory to decide non-conflict cases within 45 days. He instructed the Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars of the district to launch a special campaign in this regard and all such cases would be resolved within a month.
He said that after December 31, if any non-conflict case is found pending in any tehsil/sub-tehsil beyond the time limit of 45 days, the responsibility for the same will be on the concerned officer/employee.
Plots can be registered without NOC
Additional Deputy Commissioner said that giving great relief to the people buying plots in unauthorized colonies, the Punjab Government has amended the Punjab Apartment and Property Regulation Act 1955, according to which now without NOC. Registration of plots can be done for this.
He said that as per the instructions of the government, if any person has registered a power of attorney, agreement on stamp paper or a sale deed in advance to purchase a plot up to 500 square yards in an unauthorized colony by July 31, 2024, then he can .O.C. Can get the plot registered for this.
