Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is working day and night for the development of the education infrastructure of the state. Due to which a large number of students studying in private schools are taking admission in government schools. About Rs 03 crore 85 lakh is being spent on the School of Eminence in Fatehgarh Sahib. The children told that the work is going very slow. He reviewed the development works and also called a special meeting at the Secretariat tomorrow to expedite them.

500 children from 20 kilometer radius

The minister said that due to the efforts of the Punjab government, the number of students studying in the school has increased to more than 500. Children are coming from a radius of about 20 kilometers. Bus arrangements have also been made in the school. The works of the school include shooting range, playground, renovation of building, stage, toilet block, lab, ramp and modernization of the school. As part of the next phase of the development work, a block of 10 new rooms and a wall around the playground will also be constructed.
