Media Welfare Association, a registered organization of journalists in the district for a long time, met the Union Minister of State Ravneet Bittu under the leadership of President Paramjit Singh Lali. Discussing the problems faced by the journalists, he demanded that Patiala does not have a common press club for all journalists, due to which there is a need for a common press club. Member of Parliament Ravneet Bittu also confirmed that he will talk to the department regarding the establishment of a joint press club in Patiala.
According to the information, today President Paramjit Singh Lali, Anil Thakar, Charanjeev Joshi, Kanwar Bedi etc. all the journalists jointly requested to MP Ravneet Bittu that the heritage Lal Kothi which is becoming an empty ruin here, there is a common press for all the journalists. A club should be formed. Regarding this, Union Minister Ravneet Bittu assured to solve this issue in favor of journalists by talking to the concerned department.
