Strict action should be taken against those sitting on the seat of law and doing corruption because how can people expect justice if this continues.”

Vikas said, “Justice can be expected only when decisions are made based on facts and if this is not the case, people will gradually start losing faith in the justice system.” This can create a situation where people may be afraid to get married. Men may start to feel that if they get married, that money will become an ATM.”

Atul Subhash’s body was found hanging at his house in Manjunath Layout area, which falls within Marathahalli police station limits, on Monday. A plaque inscribed “Justice Buys” was found in the room where he is said to have ended his life.

Before taking the drastic step, he (Atul Subhash) recorded over 80 minutes of video on Rumble explaining the circumstances behind his decision.

In a video that has gone viral on the social media platform, Subhash can be heard saying, “I feel that I should kill myself because the money I earn is making my enemies stronger. The same money will be used to destroy me. The cycle will continue.” Subhash’s uncle Pawan Kumar alleged that his nephew was being harassed for money and was also humiliated by his wife and the judge.

At first the family demanded Rs 40,000 per month, later doubled it and then demanded Rs 1 lakh from the deceased. Kumar has also alleged that Subhash’s wife and her family were ‘demanding’ money for his nephew’s four-year-old son on the pretext of child support. He wondered how much money would be required to raise a child of this age.

He alleged that, “His wife even said that if he could not pay the amount, then he should commit suicide, at which the judge also laughed.” It hurt him a lot,” Kumar said that the family had no idea that Subhash could do such a thing. “He had a schedule for everything.

Subhash’s cousin Bajrang Aggarwal alleged that the deceased’s wife and family were constantly demanding money from him. As long as he was paying, everything was fine, but when he stopped paying huge sums as per their demands, the quarrel started again and she separated with the child. A divorce case was going on, they filed so many cases against him that he broke down.

Meanwhile, Nikita’s uncle Sushil Kumar, claiming to be innocent, said that neither he nor any member of his family was present at the place of the incident.

He said that I am innocent. I wasn’t even there. We came to know about his suicide through media, none of our family members were present at the place of incident. He further said that the allegations made by Subhash are false and Nikita will answer all the allegations soon.

According to the police, preliminary investigation revealed that Subhash was facing a marital dispute with his wife, who had also registered a case against him in Uttar Pradesh. He also sent his death note via email to several people and shared it with a WhatsApp group of an NGO he was associated with, the official said.
