Under the leadership of Anganwadi worker Charanjit Kaur, government primary school children took out a rally today in nearby village Poonniyan under the Drug Free India campaign. On this occasion, school children held posters in their hands and made people aware about drugs. Charanjit Kaur Poonyan said that drug addiction is not only affecting our young generation but also affecting social and economic progress. He said that today drug addiction is spreading in India and many young people have fallen into its mire and have died.

He said that we should take a vow together that if there is any drug addict around us, we should explain to him and get him enrolled in the drug addiction center so that the leprosy of drugs can be eradicated. On this occasion, Asha workers Prabhjot Kaur, Mandeep Kaur, Rajwinder Kaur, Manjeet Kaur, Sehajveer Singh, Harpreet Singh, Ekmeet Singh, Harjot Kaur, Harpreet Kaur, Gagandeep Kaur, Paramveer Singh, Sehajpreet Kaur, Manseerat Kaur, Jashnpreet Singh, Akashdeep Kaur, Ishandeep Singh was also present.
