Suresh Kumar, a Jugadu rickshaw driver, was injured when a paddy-laden tractor trolley collided with a Jugadu motorcycle rickshaw on the Kotakpura-Jaito road here. He has been admitted to a hospital in Amritsar for treatment. In the complaint filed with Thana City, Suresh Kumar said that he was carrying vegetables in the morning on his Jugadu road and when he reached near the God well, he collided with a tractor coming from the front with a trolley full of paddy. He suffered injuries. He said that he is now admitted in a private hospital in Amritsar and his right leg has been amputated from above the knee. The police have registered a case in this regard and started action.
