Punjab Weather- The effect of heavy snowfall on the mountains is beginning to be seen in the plains. The range of cold northerly winds has increased. The maximum temperature in Jalandhar and Gurdaspur was 19 degrees, which was lower than the cold foggy weather in Punjab. In all other districts, the day temperature remained between 20 and 21 degrees Celsius.

Now the cold has suddenly taken hold. Extreme cold continues in Jammu and Kashmir. The temperature of Gulmarg was -6.0 degrees. The Meteorological Department has issued a cold wave warning in North India. A cold wave alert has been issued for the next 24 hours from Leh-Ladakh to Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana and Uttarakhand.
