State level ‘Veer Bal Diwas 2024’ dedicated to the martyrdom of Sahibzadeh was organized by the Child Welfare Council, Punjab and District Child Welfare Council, Amritsar with the support of the district administration today at the School of Eminence for Girls, Mall Road. On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sahni mentioned the martyrdom of Chote Sahibzades. Shabad singing, poetry reading, paper reading and debate competitions were conducted in all districts in memory of Chhota Sahibzades. The Deputy Commissioner distributed the prizes to the district level winners from all the districts of the state.
Kapurthala won first place, Patiala second place and Jalandhar district won third place in this state level event. Poetry reading competition in 5 to 10 years category first place Harleen Kaur (Jalandhar), second place Bhavdeep (SBS Nagar) and third place Jayzaleen Kaur Athwal (Faridkot), first place in 10 to 15 years category Mankirat Kaur (Jalandhar) ), the second place was won by Niharika (Amritsar) and the third place by Hargunpreet Singh (Sri Muktsar Sahib). Manjit Kaur (Ludhiana), second place Nurpreet Kaur (Jalandhar) and third place Jasmin (SBS Nagar) won the paper reading competition. First place in Debate Competition (Individual) Sanjana Batra (SBS Nagar), second place Simranjit Kaur (Gurdaspur) and third place Harmanpreet Kaur (Bathinda), first place in Debate Competition (Team) Vansh Sharma and Priyanka (Amritsar) , the second place was won by Hina and Randeep Kaur.
