In Mohali, a retired soldier of the Indian Army was robbed on the way by some miscreants at gunpoint. Ex-serviceman Askaranjit Singh, a resident of Ambala, was going home in his car via Mohali Sector 104. Then on the way three unknown miscreants attacked him.

The miscreants got Rs 95,500 transferred from his account using cash, documents and mobile phone as well as Google Pay. The police have registered a case against the three unknown accused under various criminal sections and started investigation.
forced to sit in the car by threatening According to the police, Askaranjeet Singh was going to his home in Ambala via Sector-104 of Mohali. Three youths who came in a car forcibly stopped his car on Ladran-Banur road. One of the accused had brought a pistol and other sticks. They threatened Askaranjeet and made him sit in the back seat of his car and started robbing the moving car.
What was snatched during the robbery? The accused snatched the purse from the ex-serviceman which contained Rs 5500 in cash, driving license, Aadhaar card and car documents. Apart from this, the accused took the password of Google Pay and transferred Rs 40,000 from his account. Then he got Rs 50,000 transferred again by threatening to kill him. After this the robbers reset the phone and returned it.
The accused threatened the victim that if she told anyone about the incident, her family members would be harmed. Sohana police station has started scanning the CCTV footage around the incident spot. Police say that soon the accused will be identified and arrested.
