A team of the cyber police station of the police has arrested an accused on the charge of committing a cyber fraud of around 85 thousand rupees by luring a credit card. Sub Inspector Subhash Chandra, in charge of Cyber Crime Police Station, said that on November 30, 2023, a woman had lodged a complaint with the police that some people had cheated her of Rs 85,100 from her account by luring her with a credit card. Acting on the complaint of the victim, the police have arrested an accused from Delhi. The arrested person has been identified as Ashwani son of Naveen Kumar resident of NIA Raghuveer Nagar DDA Market Tagore Garden, Delhi. The police officer has said that an attempt will be made to produce the accused in the court and take him on remand so that other accused involved in this case can be found out. He said that the investigation of the matter is going on and strict legal action will be taken against whoever is found involved in this fraud case.
