Nawanshahr girl died in a road accident in Canada, her last rites were performed today. The deceased Sangam (21) was a resident of Aur town. The girl’s uncle, missionary singer SS Azad, told that a year ago she had gone to Canada for studies.

He told that on December 1, he got a call from Canada that his daughter had died in a road accident, so he thought that a fraudster was calling. When he inquired about this road accident, he came to know that his niece Sangam had met with an accident on 1 December and died during treatment on 3 December.
After two weeks, Sangam’s body was brought from Canada to his native village Aur in Punjab, his last rites were performed yesterday. He said that his brother Devi Dayal had sent his daughter to Canada to study after working hard.
