Commenting strongly on the winter sessions of the Parliament which were marred by riots, Rajya Sabha member Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal has said that no meaningful issue of the people of the country was discussed during the winter session. He said that during this session, the leaders of the political parties, who are far away from the real issues of the people, have wasted all their time in belittling each other. He said that it is the constitutional right of the opposition party to protest, but the protest should not be carried to such an extent that the time allotted to the parliamentarian through zero hour is spoiled by this protest. It is an opportunity in which leaders of all parties can put forward their issues in the House. Sant Sicheval said that three zero hours of human trafficking of girls in foreign countries fell victim to the riots on the issue related to their agriculture. He said that during the ongoing session of the Parliament from November 25 to December 20, he was given the opportunity to speak only once, during which he called to stop the rapidly spreading cancer in the country and provide free treatment to the affected patients. had demanded Rajya Sabha member Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal has written a letter to the Prime Minister to save the life of a farmer leader who is on a fast to death due to farmers’ demands. He wrote through the letter that the life of farmer leader Dallewal is very important for the welfare of farmers across India. The demands for which they are on death fast have been accepted by the central government, but are not being implemented. He wrote in the letter that after 75 years of independence, many areas have progressed, but the condition of farmers is getting worse. He said that if the farmer of the country works in the fields, then the belly of the country can be filled.
