In village Chak Fateh Singh Wala, the panchayat under the chairmanship of Sarpanch Sukhbir Singh held a meeting in Dharamshala and some concrete resolutions were passed for the welfare of the village, including the removal of the youth of the village from the clutches of drugs. The panchayat has taken a very strict step against drugs. Tenth Guru Gobind Singh Ji stayed in this historic village for a week. This village is the native village of Constituency MLA Master Jagsir Singh and the maternal village of Sukhbir Badal. Sarpanch Sukhbir Singh said that if a person is caught selling white, signature and drug pills, then legal action will be taken against him and no one will grant him bail. The person who gets bail will be boycotted by the villagers. He said that driving decks on tractors passing through the village has been strictly prohibited. Violators, families throwing garbage in village drains and shopkeepers selling stinging cold drinks and kite china doors at shops will be fined Rs 2000. Apart from this, no immigrant will be allowed to vote in the village. He appealed to the villagers to give full effort in implementing the decisions taken in these resolutions. Panchayat members Seema Rani, Gurpreet Kaur, Nirmal Kaur, Baltej Singh, Rinku Singh, Gurjit Singh and other important persons were present on this occasion. He appealed to the villagers to cooperate in these resolutions.
