The ‘People’s Literary Festival’ will start from tomorrow

The ‘People’s Literary Festival’, a forum for literary, cultural and social concerns, is being held here at Teachers’ Home from 25 to 28 December. Journalist Arfa Khanam Sherwani and writer Ashok Pandey (Delhi) will participate as keynote speakers in this four-day literary festival in memory of late poet Surjit Patar. In the inaugural session of the People’s Literary Festival, Chairman of Punjab Kala Parishad Chandigarh Swaranjit Singh Swai will participate, while the chief guest Prof. Jagmohan Singh (Ludhiana) People’s Forum President Khushwant Bargari and Secretary General Gurbinder Singh Brar said that Wire’s Senior Editor Arfa Khanam Sherwani will speak on the topic ‘We the People of India, Constitution, Society and Free Press’ in his keynote speech. In the second session, Kuldeep Singh Deep, Taskeen and Rajinderpal Singh Brar will discuss the topic of ‘Punjabi Song Sangeet-Hari Kranti’.
