The Center should talk to the farmers without hesitation: Bhagwant Hon

Chandigarh (Tons): Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has strongly criticized the central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for treating farmers like a stepmother and not giving them a chance to raise their rightful demands. The Chief Minister appealed to the Central Government to leave its arrogant and stubborn attitude and open the way for dialogue with the agitating farmers. He said that the Center should not wait for any special opportunity to talk to the farmers, but should resolve their grievances on a priority basis. Mr. Mann said that Modi is interfering in the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine to become a ‘global leader’ by ignoring the problems of the country’s food supply. He said that the central government should first fulfill the rightful demands of the farmers.
