An elderly couple was sitting on the seat in front of me in the train.
“Find a porter early. The briefcase is heavy, neither to be carried by me nor by you. The vehicle also stops here for a short time.” The woman said to the man. The man looked around, but could not find any porter.
“No problem, give me the briefcase, I will take it outside.” Say that I picked up the briefcase and brought it outside on the platform. The briefcase was quite heavy.
“My son works here. Very nice, respectable job. He takes great care of us.” The old man was telling me. The old man was anxiously waiting for his son, but the son was not coming. Then the mobile phone rings.
“My son has a phone.” The father said to me sternly. After hearing the call, the old man became sad.
“What does it say?” asked the woman.
“He says come out, I have very little time.”
“No problem. I’m leaving you outside.” Saying this, I again grabbed their briefcase and walked away.
“Wahguru may you live long,” said the elder.
“Don’t give this shit.”
“Why?” said the old man.
“I don’t like the long life you are living. I want to live a short, but good and healthy life.” Hearing my direct words, he became sad. Both came out of the station dragging their feet. He was very happy to see his son’s car. I was thinking that the son will get out of the car and touch the feet of the parents, but nothing happened. He sat comfortably in the vehicle. The briefcase was heavy. I quickly opened the car door and put the briefcase on the back seat.
“Son, we have to leave them at home.” The father said to the son.
“Don’t worry about me. I have to go Twenty rupees three wheeler has to take.” I said.
“How much you have done for us. We will leave you.” said the old man.
“But papa I don’t have time. You try to understand. You become friends with everyone. Should I leave everyone at home?” I was not sad that he was not ready to leave me at home but his words made a father ashamed and disappointed.
“No problem. See how many three wheelers are doing the ‘waza’. Bado Badi is putting me in a three wheeler. How much respect I am getting for twenty rupees.” Saying this, I sat in the three wheeler. The car also started fast. The old man was still looking back helplessly at me.
