A passenger plane with 72 people on board crashed on Wednesday near the Kazakh city of Aktau, Russian news agencies reported, citing Kazakhstan’s Emergencies Ministry.

This Azerbaijan Airlines flight was on its way to Grozny from Baku, Russia (Chechnya) but was diverted due to fog in Grozny. The video of this incident is going viral on social media. According to the news agency Reuters, officials say that 25 people have been rescued and 42 passengers have died in this accident.
The plane made several circles around the airport before crashing. This plane belonged to Azerbaijan Airlines. More details in this regard are awaited.
