Alumni meet of the college was held at DMC campus in which more than 200 alumni from different parts of the country and abroad participated. The event was organized as a Diamond Jubilee celebration for the first batch of 1964, Golden Jubilee batch of 1974 and Silver Jubilee batch of 1999. The event also saw the inauguration of the ‘Wall of Fame’ – ‘DMC&H Best Graduates’ to honor academic excellence and inspire current medical students. On this occasion, the first issue of the magazine ‘Alumni Times’ was released.
DMCH Management Society Secretary Bipin Gupta said that DMC&H is celebrating its Diamond Jubilee batch for the first time. Principal Dr. GS Wander welcomed all the dignitaries and appreciated the efforts of DMCH Alumni Committee for organizing this programme. DMCH Managing Society Treasurer Mukesh Kumar, Dean Academic Dr. Dr. Sandeep Kaushal, Medical Superintendent. Sandeep Sharma, Dr. Ashwani Kumar Chowdhury and Dr. Bishav Mohan, Chief Cardiologist, Hero DMC Heart Institute was also present. On this occasion, DMC Alumni Committee Chairperson Dr. Punit. A. Pune, convener Dr. Shiba T. Chhabra, Coordinator Dr. Suman Puri and Secretary Dr. Dinesh Jain also attended.
