Regarding this matter, SP D Balkrishna Singla said that four accused had demanded Rs 60 lakh from a cloth merchant from Moga. The miscreants threatened to kill if the money was not paid. This threat was given in the name of gangster Arsh Dala. The police took action and arrested 4 miscreants.
Ransom demanded for snatched mobile
The arrested criminals have been identified as Simranjit Singh, Sandeep Singh, Sonu Kumar, resident of Moga and Karan Kumar, resident of Uttar Pradesh. Simranjeet Singh used to work with that clothes merchant earlier. Because Kumar also currently lives in Moga. There is already a case registered against Karan. A few days ago, he had snatched a mobile phone from someone and had made a call from the same mobile phone and demanded ransom. All four have been arrested and a case has been registered.
