Patiala: A meeting of mid-day meal workers was held at the office of Class IV Government Employees Union Punjab (1680) in Rajpura Colony. The meeting was presided over by Ram Prashad Sahota, President of District Sub Committee of Schools. In the meeting, there was a demand to implement minimum wages for mid-day meal workers, provide all facilities as per labor laws, provide uniforms and provide compensation in case of untoward incidents. President Darshan Singh Lubana said that to fulfill these demands, it was also decided to stage a dharna in front of the District Education Officer office on January 8. District Senior Vice President, Shiv Charan and Om Prakash were present on this occasion. -News-Patiala
