The seven-day Naam Simran events organized in Gurdwara Gur Gyan Prakash Sahib Javadi Taksal with the support of Sangat under the leadership of Sant Amir Singh in memory of the four Sahibzades, Mata Gujri and Shaheed Singhs have ended today.
During the event, students of Gur Shabad Sangeet Academy Javadi Taksal performed kirtan of Gurbani words. After this Japuji Sahib was recited in Sangat form and Panth famous dhadi jatha Giani Tarlochan Singh Bhumdi narrated Sikh history with dhadi times. Sant Amir Singh, the present head of Javadi Taksal, while considering the story, said that Sikh history is the history of martyrs and every page of it is stained with the blood of martyrs. He said that the Gurus have asked us to rest our head on the floor to make love, and we have practiced it before. Narrating the martyrdom of the four Sahibzades, he urged the Sikh youth to take inspiration from it. During the event, people from different neighborhoods and colonies of the city, apart from surrounding villages participated in the event. Langar by Guru was served during the event.
