Malwa Likhari Sabha Sangrur organized a special literary event dedicated to the martyrdom of Sahibzades at the local Writers Bhavan in which a literary meeting was held with poet Manjit Indira. While sharing memories related to his life and writing process, he also recited some of his selected poems, which were heard by the audience. He said that reading Naroi literature is mandatory for Naroi literary creation.
Eminent author Pammi Phaguwalia’s research book ‘Insensitivity-Disability: Problem and Solution’ was presented to the public. Apart from this, writer and singer Kulwant Khanuri’s religious song ‘Gujri Maa Agrahidi Ae’ and Sukhpal Singh Dohla’s religious song ‘Gobind De Haan Lal’ were also presented. The renowned writer and film actress Police Inspector Harshjot Kaur, who attended the function as the chief guest, while discussing the literary creation of Manjit Indira, said that the role of good literature is important for building a good society.
