Due to the cold wave, schools up to 8th are closed till January 14, orders issued

Due to two western disturbances forming in Jammu and Kashmir, the situation may worsen due to rains in North India. The Meteorological Department has predicted cloudy skies on Saturday. Along with this, rain is likely to occur in Punjab, Haryana and Delhi NCR in the next 48 hours. The weather may change in Punjab from this evening.

Snowfall in the Himalayan mountains including Himachal, Uttarakhand and westerly winds have led to further melting in northern India including Uttar Pradesh. The maximum temperature in Ayodhya has come down drastically. The minimum temperature has dropped to 5 degrees Celsius. Which is 2 degrees Celsius less than normal. Apart from this, the maximum temperature of the day also recorded a drastic drop. The maximum temperature of Ayodhya was recorded at 12 degrees Celsius on Friday. Which is 8 degrees Celsius less than normal.

Life has been severely affected due to cold in the entire district. In view of the cold, Ayodhya DM Chandra Vijay Singh has ordered to keep all schools up to 8th standard closed till January 14. According to the Meteorological Department, people will face severe cold for the next few days. The department has issued a cold day alert for the coming days. DM Chandra Vijay Singh has ordered to keep schools up to 8th standard closed from January 4 to 14 due to cold weather.

Meteorologist Dr Amarnath Mishra of Acharya Narendra Dev Agricultural University said that the maximum temperature on Friday had dropped to 12 degrees and the minimum had dropped to 5 degrees Celsius. Dense fog has increased due to sunshine. Currently, there is little hope of relief from the cold.
