Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann unexpectedly arrived today afternoon with his family members for a personal visit to Chhatbir Zoo. Meanwhile, Punjabi actor Binu Dhillon was also with him. They got information about wild animals from Chhatbir zoo officials. The visit was not planned and the Mohali district administration had no prior information about it. However, the media was also kept away during the Chief Minister’s personal visit and no official refused to share any information about it. Before his visit to Chhatbir, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann today also paid obeisance at Gurdwara Sri Bhatta Sahib in Ropar along with his family. During this unexpected visit to Chhatbir Zoo, the district officials got into trouble. Due to no advance information, the Mohali district administration had to make preparations in a hurry. The Chief Minister’s visit also drew attention to the importance of conservation and protection of zoo animals and their habitats. After this visit, in the evening, the Chief Minister along with the convoy left for the Chief Minister’s residence. On this occasion, Mohali SSP Deepak Parik, DC accompanied him. A large number of administrative officials including Ashika Jain, Chattbir Zoo Field Director Neeraj Gupta, SDM Derabsi Amit Gupta, DSP Sub Division Jaspinder Singh Gill were present.
