Party’s district press secretary Barkat Singh Vohra said here today that among those who joined the Congress on the inspiration of the party’s district president Harminder Singh Gill were Jathedar Harjinder Singh from Gandiwind village, former sarpanch of slums Natha Singh Darshan Singh, Sarge of slums Noor Muhammad. Singh, former sarpanch of Jaloke, Mastan Singh, Surinder Singh and Pyaara Singh, etc.’s family names are included. Former MLA Harminder Singh Gill welcomed those who joined the Congress party during the function held in Patti today and said that the Congress party is emerging as a strong political party in the country which is expected to take over the reins of the country soon. is
