New Delhi, January 7
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal released the party’s campaign song for the Delhi Assembly elections on Tuesday. It is to be noted that the Election Commission is expected to announce the dates of the Delhi elections today.
Titled ‘Phir Layenge Kejriwal’, the 3:29-minute song highlights AAP’s achievements during its tenure as the Delhi government. It tries to touch the hearts of the voters, in which the importance of continuity of government and administration has been highlighted.
After releasing the song, Kejriwal said, “We treat our elections like festivals and people wait for our song; Now it’s out and people can dance to it.”
Taking a jibe at the BJP, he said, “I know the BJP leaders will also like this song of ours. They too can dance to our song inside their rooms.” On this occasion, Delhi Chief Minister Atishi and other senior AAP leaders Manish Sisodia, Saurabh Bhardwaj, Gopal Rai and Sanjay Singh were also present on this occasion.
By releasing this campaign song, AAP has outdone its main opposition parties in another matter. The party has already announced the names of its candidates for all 70 constituencies of the Delhi Assembly as the party is in full swing in its bid to win power in Delhi for the third time in a row.
