Punjab News: The sectarian parties and the leaders of the Insaf Morcha who arrived at the Shahidi Miri-Piri conference organized by the Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) under the leadership of Bapu Gurcharan Singh convener Qaumi Insaf Morcha on January 7 raised the issue of the release of the captive Singhs. It was decided to march in a democratic and peaceful manner. To prevent him from joining this march, the police surrounded the house of Akali Dal (Amritsar) President Simranjit Singh Mann and detained him at home this morning. Today, the police surrounded Sardar Harnam Singh, Mr. Mann’s residence at Talanii.

Similarly, the police surrounded the house of Khadur Sahib Constituency Lok Sabha member Amritpal Singh and his father Tarsem Singh was also detained at home early today. Mr. Mann said that the general secretary of the party Prof. Mahinderpal Singh, PAC member Bahadur Singh Bhasour, Gurnaib Singh Rampura, Harjit Singh Mianpur, Narinder Singh Kalabula Dhuri and Amrik Singh etc. have also been placed under house arrest.
