While thanking BJP leader Sukhminder Singh Grewal for his sympathy, Jagjit Singh Dallewal said that instead of the Singh Sahibs, he appealed to the Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Giani Raghbir Singh, to issue an order to end the fast. To meet the Prime Minister and insist on him to accept the demands of the farmers.
Dallewal, a farmer leader, said that if the demands are met, he will end his fast, as he has no interest in fasting or sitting on the streets with farmers. He said that farmers are forced to do this only to fulfill their legitimate demands.
It may be mentioned that the BJP leader had met Jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh of Akal Takht and requested him to issue an order to end the death fast of farmer leader Dallewal.
