Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla today visited Moreh town on India-Myanmar border and took stock of the situation. Raj Bhavan said in a statement that Bhalla inspected the functioning of the Integrated Check Post (ICP) and officials of the Land Ports Authority of India also gave him a presentation. Raj Bhavan said, “The Governor visited India-Myanmar Friendship Gate No.1 and No.2. They later also visited Gowajang village where the commanding officer of 25 Border Roads Task Force briefed them about the ongoing fencing work along the Indo-Myanmar border.” Bhalla, who is also a former Union Home Secretary, met various civil society organizations.
