The first anniversary celebrations of the Ram Lalla Murthy Abhishek and Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Ram Temple began here on Saturday, where a large number of devotees will participate in various events. Various religious and cultural programs will begin today in the Ram temple complex. The anniversary celebration started with the recitation of Yajurveda.
On this occasion, Ram Lalla’s court is decorated with flowers. The Pranpratistha ceremony held on January 22 last year was led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi who today congratulated the countrymen on this occasion.
In his congratulatory message, he said, “Greetings to all citizens on the first anniversary of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya. UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also congratulated the countrymen. According to the temple trust, the celebrations scheduled from January 11 to 13 are aimed at involving the common people, who could not attend the historic Pranpratistha ceremony held last year. He will participate in the function along with 110 VIPs invited in this regard.
Earlier, Champat Roy, general secretary of Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust, said, “The trust has decided to invite the general public who could not attend the consecration last year. They will be allowed to attend all the three-day functions at Angad Tila.” -News-Patiala
