In this regard, Goga Mann, former sarpanch Charan Singh, Raman Mann, Parminder Singh and others said that the irrigation department on Rajbahe deliberately made the bridge crooked instead of making it straight, due to which the drivers of small and large vehicles face difficulties while crossing. have to face Vehicles like minibuses and cars pass through this bridge with difficulty. Due to the narrow width of the bridge, only one vehicle can pass at a time. There are five educational institutes for girls in Sidhwan Khurd and every day a large number of children go to these institutes on bicycles, scooters etc. Many accidents have happened on this bridge before.
Ravinder Singh, Virpal Singh, Balwant Singh, Mewa Singh and others of village Gude have demanded from the government, administration and irrigation department that the construction of Rajbahe bridge should be resumed and the new bridge should directly connect both sides of the road. be wide He also said that the footpaths should be made higher so that the passers-by do not face any problem.
Attempts were made to speak to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Jagraon, but could not be contacted. Tehsildar Ranjit Singh said that he will inform the district administration about it.
