PM-YOUTH-DIALOGUE The goal of ‘Developed India’ may seem difficult, but not impossible: Modi


New Delhi, January 12

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today asserted that the skills of India’s youth population will help develop the country by 2024. Addressing the ‘Vikast Bharat Young Leaders’ dialogue dedicated to the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, Mr. Modi said that some people may find the goal of developing India difficult, but it is not impossible.

Highlighting the strength and numbers of the country’s youth population, he said that if the spirit of ‘Developed India’ guides its every step, policy and decision, then no force can stop India from becoming a developed country. He said, “The country has to set big goals to move forward…that’s what India is doing today.” He said that the country is achieving many goals ahead of time in various fields. The Prime Minister said that India has set a target of adding 20 percent ethanol to petrol by 2030 and will achieve this target even before that. He said that the government alone cannot move the country forward. He told the youth from all over the country that the ownership of ‘Developed India’ is not only Modi’s but also theirs.

The Prime Minister said that his views will be part of the country’s policies and will give direction to it. Mr. Modi said that the country also hopes to host the Olympics in the next decade and is working towards it with full dedication. The Prime Minister said that Swami Vivekananda had great faith in the young generation and said that the youth would find solutions to all problems. -News-Patiala
