The 675th Jyoti Jot Day of Shiromani Bhagat Namdev is being celebrated with devotion. On this occasion, Nagar Kirtan was organized today. Under the umbrella of Guru Granth Sahib and led by Panj Pyaras, Nagar Kirtan started from Gurdwara Tapiana Sahib Ghuman and circumambulated Sri Namdev Darbar, Nawan Bazar and bus stand among other places. On this occasion, shopkeepers and other religious and social organizations warmly welcomed the Nagar Kirtan. On this occasion, the gatka parties attracted the attention of the congregation by showing their deeds. Late in the evening Nagar Kirtan reached Gurdwara Tapiana Sahib. It is to be noted that on 13th, 14th and 15th of January in Nagar Ghuman, Bhattiwal and Sakhowal, people are paying obeisance at the historical places associated with the memories of Bhagat Namdev.
