Punjab Agriculture Minister Gurmeet Singh Khudian today said that if the central government’s intentions are right, it should hold talks with the protesting farmers before February 14. Talking to this news agency, Khuddia said, “If the intentions of the central government are good, then they should talk to the protesting farmers in one or two days.” Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s intervention was sought. He had appealed that the central government should talk to the protesting farmers to break the stalemate between the government and the farmers.
