Donald Trump’s swearing-in ceremony begins, Biden welcomes the Trump couple to the White House

Donald Trump will soon be sworn in as the 47th President of the United States. Trump’s swearing-in ceremony, which was earlier to be held outside the Capitol Hill (Parliament of the country), will now be held indoors due to extreme cold. President-elect Trump’s swearing-in ceremony began today with a service at St. John’s Episcopal Church. The President-elect of the United States has to serve in this church before taking the oath of office. On reaching the White House, Biden and first lady Jill Biden gave a red carpet welcome to the Trump couple. Before this personal meeting, President Biden and President-elect Donald Trump took pictures. As Trump got out of the car, Biden told him, “Welcome home.” Today’s swearing-in ceremony will also include some former Trump administration officials, including Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Kellyanne Also included is Republican Ronnie Jackson of Conway, Texas. Jackson was Trump’s doctor in the White House. Trump will swear from two Bibles during the swearing-in ceremony. One of these Bibles was given to Trump by his mother in 1955 while the other Bible is the Lincoln Bible. President Abraham Lincoln also took the oath from the same Bible. Trump will be sworn in by Chief Justice John Roberts. Meanwhile, Vice President JD Vance will use his personal Bible to take the oath. This Bible was given to Vance by his great grandmother. Vance will be sworn in by Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. Among the world leaders who will attend Trump’s swearing-in ceremony are Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Milloni, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, Chinese Vice President Han Zhang, Argentine President Javier Millai, Ecuadorian President Daniel, Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar, Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong and Japanese Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya are included. The tech giants who attended the event include Tesla SpaceX’s Elon Musk, Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg, TikTok’s Su Zhi Chew, Apple’s Tim Cook, OpenAI’s Sam Altman and Google’s Sundar Pichai. Meanwhile, India’s Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar said that he is proud to represent India in Donald Trump’s swearing-in ceremony.
