There is good news for the youth waiting for RRB Group D Recruitment of Railways. Railway Recruitment Board has released notification for Group D Level-1 Recruitment (RRB CEN No. 08/2024). Through this, there will be recruitment for 32,438 posts in Railways. For this, one has to apply online by visiting the RRB website rrbapply.gov.in.
The online application process for RRB Group D Recruitment will start from 23rd January and will continue till 22nd February. Under Group D Level-1, there will be recruitment for the posts like Pointsman, Assistant Track Machine, Assistant Bridge, Track Maintainer, Assistant Loco Shed.
How will the selection be made?
After completing the application process for RRB Group D Recruitment, there will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) i.e. Online Exam. Along with this, there will be procedures like physical examination, document verification and medical examination.
Age Limit for Group D Recruitment
Candidates age limit for RRB Group D Recruitment should be between 18 to 36 years. Reserved category candidates will get relaxation in upper age limit as per rules. Candidates belonging to OBC category will get relaxation of three years and SC/ST will get relaxation of five years.
Educational Qualification for Group D Recruitment
For RRB Group D Recruitment, candidates must have passed 10th from a recognized board and also must have done ITI. For more information see recruitment notification.

The application fee will be refunded after the examination…
There is a rule to refund the application fee after appearing in the RRB Group D recruitment exam. The Railway Recruitment Board will refund Rs 400 out of the application fee of Rs 500 for General Category candidates after deducting bank charges. While candidates belonging to PWBD (Divyang), Women, Transgender, Ex-Servicemen, SC/ST, Minority Community and Economically Backward Classes (EBC) will be refunded the entire application fee.
