Union Minister Amit Shah has reached Prayagraj to participate in the ongoing Mahakumbh celebrations. Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and his cabinet members welcomed Shah at the Prayagraj airport. In his one-day visit to Prayagraj, the Union Home Minister will take a holy dip in the Triveni Sangam and then visit the Hanumanji Temple and Abhaivat.
So far, many Union Ministers and many leaders including Rajnath Singh have visited the Mahakumbh and have bathed in the Triveni Sangam. Recently the Uttar Pradesh cabinet also went to Prayagraj for a meeting and then took bath in the Triveni Sangam. On Sunday, Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav took 11 holy baths in the Mahakumbha during his visit to Prayagraj. Meanwhile, a Dharma Sabha organized by spiritual leader and exponent of Bhagavata Katha Devkinandan Thakurji Maharaj will be held on Monday in the ongoing Mahakumbh in Prayagraj.
A huge gathering of devotees is expected in Prayagraj from January 13 to February 26 during Mahakumbh. More than 110 million pilgrims have already witnessed the huge enthusiasm in the Mahakumbh, which began on January 13 with the auspicious Posh Purnima. The Mahakumbh Mela is expected to host more than 45 crore visitors, a historic occasion for India. ANI
