Rajasthan Finance Minister Dia Kumari presented the second full budget of Bhajan Lal Sarkar on 19 February. Dia Kumari’s biggest announcement in the budget speech of about 138 minutes was for the youth. The Rajasthan government will recruit for 1.25 lakh posts in the next 1 year. Also, one and a half lakh jobs will be produced in the private sector.

Government will fund startups

In the budget speech, Dia Kumari said that there are more than 5 thousand startups in the state, which 36 thousand youths are joining. This year 1,500 new startups are expected to be launched, out of which more than 750 startups will be given by the Fund government. Along with this, a help desk will be built in Hyderabad, Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru to provide networking to startups. Also, career counseling centers will be set-up.

For the youth set up their enterprises, the Scheme for First Time Entrepreneur has been started in the Union Budget. Under this, facilities will be provided to 25 thousand women, SC-ST entrepreneurs.

Vishwakarma Skill Institute will be opened in Kota

  • Vishwakarma Skill Institute will be set up in Kota at a cost of Rs 150 crore, in which 50 thousand youth will have skill training.
  • Seats will be increased in schools and colleges and Atal tinkering labs will be built in 1,500 schools.
  • Digital planetariums will be built in Alwar, Ajmer, Bikaner.
  • Innovation hub will be established at the Science Center of Bharatpur, Kota, Ajmer, Bikaner.

‘Rajasthan Employment Policy 2025’ will bring Rajasthan government

  • The ‘Rajasthan Employment Policy 2025’ will be brought for the employment training to the youth.
  • A ‘Vivekananda Employment Assistance Fund’ of Rs 500 crore will be created.
  • Employment fairs will be organized.
  • Local people will be given priority in campus interview and new investment.
  • At the same time, one and a half lakh jobs will be provided in the private sector.

Center will open in quota for suicide prevention

Centers will be opened in Kota and Jodhupar to prevent youth suicides. Along with this, de -addiction centers will also be started in all the colleges and universities of the state.
