Actor Sameer Soni’s name is also included in the list of stars who have traveled from TV to films. He made his acting debut in the serial ‘Samandar’ in the year 1996. After that he was seen in Doordarshan’s serial ‘A Mouse Full of Sky’. This role gave him a tremendous identity among the audience. After earning a name from the small screen, the actor turned to films where his journey was not easy at all.

Sameer Soni has worked in many films and series during his career, but he got a tremendous identity by becoming onscreen son of Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini. In the 2003 film ‘Baghban’, Sameer Soni played the role of Amitabh and Hema Malini’s son. In the film, he was seen in the gray shade character, which he was hesitant before playing.

Sameer Soni revealed in his latest interview that he was hesitant to become a villain on screen. He did not want the audience to see him as a villain at the beginning of his career. He told that despite his great performance in the National Award Winning film ‘Dance Like a Man’, he did not get work for several months. He further says that the film ‘Bagban’ was also being praised all around, but even after this he did not get work for 3 months. Sameer Soni, a fascinating work, was also doubting his decision to step into the entertainment industry.
