In view of this, the Railways has now started a new facility so that the passenger’s mobile can be easily tracked if the mobile is stolen. In fact, the Department of Telecommunications (DOT) and the Railway Protection Force (RPF) have taken a new step together, which has made mobile tracing, blocking and recovery easier now.
Know what is this new system?
The ‘Communication Saathi’ portal of the Department of Telecommunications has now been linked to the ‘Rail Help’ app of Indian Railways. Through this system, passengers can file complaints of their lost or stolen mobile directly on the ‘Rail Help’ app. This complaint will automatically reach the ‘Communication Saathi’ portal from where the mobile will be blocked so that it cannot be misused and its tracking can be started.

Facilities available in communication partner portal
Many facilities are available on this portal, which makes it even easier to find the mobile phone.
Blocking facility: Any person can block his lost or stolen mobile by reporting on the portal.
Tresing and recovery: Police and RPF are informed about mobile tracing and recovery.
Reporting cyber crimes: This portal also allows to file complaints of telecom resources, complaints of cyber fraud and other digital offenses.

- For this, first you have to download the rail help app and file a complaint of losing mobile or theft in it.
- After this, the complaint will automatically reach the ‘Communication Saathi’ portal.
