For information, let us know that the smartphone listens to all your things through microphone. Most of the apps installed in the phone get microphone access. When these apps run in the background, then your words can be recorded and the content or ads related to them starts to see you.

This can become a threat to your privacy, but the good thing is that if you want, you can also control it. You can strengthen your phone’s privacy settings by following some simple steps, after which the phone will not be able to track any of your activity.

For this, first open the phone’s settings. Now go to Privacy & Security section. Click on Privacy Option there. After this choose Permission Manager. Now you will see the list of all the apps which have access to microphone.

After this, select one of the apps (eg YouTube) in the list of apps. There you will get three options related to microphone access which will include Allow, Don’T Allow and Ask Every Time.

Here you select “Ask Every Time” so that the next time the app wants to use your voice first take your permission. After doing this, the app will not be able to record your words without your permission.

This will keep your privacy and no app will be able to listen to you without asking. Also, apps will work as before, just their microphone access limited will remain. Similarly, you can also control camera access in the phone.
