Iphone’s new journey from India to America
Recently, data revealed shows that in the month of April, India alone sent 29 lakh iPhone to America. This figure is recorded in itself. If you compare last year, then it is a tremendous increase of 76%. On the other hand, China’s situation seems to be weakening. During the same period, only 9 lakh iPhone from China went to America, while last year this figure was 37 lakh i.e. 76% declined.
Now Apple’s eye on India
Apple’s CEO Tim Cook has already indicated that the company is seeing India and Vietnam as its manufacturing hub. Apple plans to make iPhone in India and other products like MAC, Apple Watch and iPod in Vietnam in India. It is also possible that most of the iPhone sold in America in future should be made in India.
India 17 will be seen in iPhone 17?
According to sources, manufacturing of Pro model of iPhone 17 series can be increased further in India. Given the huge demand of Pro model in America, Apple can give more priority to India for this task.
India becomes the new superpower of manufacturing
Under the ‘Make in India’ initiative, many partner companies of Apple have set up factories in India and now its effect is also visible. The company is not only making India a manufacturing hub, but is also including special features for the customers here in its new software.
Where China was once the only king in iPhone production, now India has taken away the crown on the basis of hard work, strategy and policy. In the coming time, India will emerge as a big name for technology manufacturing and this is the beginning of that golden future.
